The SCAD Museum of Art requested my team to design a custom layout and promotional materials for an upcoming exhibition of works by Saul Steinberg, best known for his six decade career as a New Yorker cartoonist. We built our designs around Steinberg’s loose and playful approach to line to make the viewer feel as though they were stepping into one of his works. The final deliverables included viewing chairs and promotional postcards around some of Steinberg’s iconic characters. We were also tasked to design themed Enchroma glasses to ensure individuals with color blindness
could still enjoy the museum.
